On Saturday 30th May anti-austerity protesters will assemble at 11am outside Shire Hall in Gloucester to show their opposition to 5 more years of devastating attacks on the lives of ordinary people, especially the most vulnerable.
From the cruel bedroom tax to zero-hour contracts in the workplace, our lives are becoming more and more insecure. Foodbanks have sprung up all over Gloucestershire – yet amongst the increasing symptoms of desperation we`re told the economy is recovering! The wealth of Britain’s thousand richest individuals has doubled – to £547 billion since the start of the economic crisis. We so obviously aren`t “all in this together”.
