NHS workers on strike – views from the picket line at Gloucester Royal Hospital

Great video from Stroud Against Cuts about the ongoing fight by NHS workers against cuts

On Monday 24th November 2014, workers in a variety of NHS fields (including midwives, occupational therapists, and mental health nurses) took part in strike action from 7am-11am.
The strike was taken in pursuit of a 1% increase in pay (still a real-terms pay cut) which was recommended by the independent Pay Review body but rejected by the government.
This film features interviews from the picket line for all workers in Gloucestershire, at Gloucester Royal Hospital.
As well as members of the public and Stroud Against the Cuts offering support, the film features representatives and members of the Royal College of Midwives, Unite the Union, and Unison – three of the largest unions taking industrial action.
